REPORT ON ORDINANCE No.....15.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled

An Ordinance to amend further the Arms and Armunition Ordinance, 1900,

and I ain of opinion that the Ordinance is

one which is not contrary to the

Governor's Instructions.

2.

The main object of this Ordinance is to bring air guns within

1900. There have the scope of the Arms and Ammunition_Ordinance, been recent cases in Hongkong where injury has been caused by the use of air guns. One case resulted in the loss of an eye.

3.

The definition of the term arms in the principal Ordinance has been repealed and re-cast for greater accuracy and clearness of

expression.
